Hi Everyone,
I don't usually post but I could not let this one go. Here is a prime examply of why to always use escrow:
I ordered a few OC 15mg IR from a seller with User Name Mellow Yellow. Total fucking flake. To begin with he starts pumping me with good reasons to finalize early which was automatically a red flag. Then he marks the order as shipped. A few days later he sends another message asking me to finalize. To make a long story short the bastard never shipped my product and then has the nerve to send me this message:
"Im extremely sorry man. My sister stole my pills before I was able to ship them. I didn't cancel because I thought I may have misplaced them but its obvious now they are gone. I am deeply embarrassed and Im not sure if I'll be able to be a seller anymore after this. Thank you
-MY"
He still never cancels the order and refuses to give me a refund. Thank goodness I did not prefinalize and was able to direct this to SR Resolution who kindly granted me a full 100% refund. As for Mellow Yellow? Go fuck yourself.

a lot of vendors wont deal with newbies unless you finalise 1st >:(

Sad but true it's terrible how they treat us newbies. I have yet to purchase an oz on SR although i'm considered a full member in the forum...Something is terribly wrong with this scenario...

"Finalize early" is an illegal term via SR 2012.

I wish Nomad's statement was true, but I think SR's only trying to stamp out "out of escrow" sales; not "you must finalize early" transactions.
Buyers should always use the escrow system the way it was intended and should not feel pressured to send money upfront and hope against hope not to get ripped off. Whether you call it OOE or "must finalize early" it's an open invitation to scammer sellers.

I think that SR's issue is for OOE. But, he did say that you cannot ask to finalize early. I am going to ask him to verify this, but I think he wants everyone to follow the program on how its written. I do see how this will hurt smaller vendors, but, it should be short lived. Maybe one month of it being a pain. On average, first class mail gets to its destination within 3 days. if the majority of buyers can finalize when they get it, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
This will help both out. The vendors are going to ship asap and get the product in the hands of the buyer quickly, I just hope that the buyer finalizes as soon as they receive.

I'm purely a buyer, which makes it easy for me to preach about how no one should be forced to finalize early. But I feel just as strongly that buyers should finalize immediately upon receipt. If some don't, then sellers are perfectly within their rights to refuse to deal with them ever again.
If I were a seller here and some buyer waited for a deal to auto-finalize or otherwise failed to pay up out of escrow within a day or so of delivery, I'd stop doing business with him.

You all make excellent points and for the most part the sellers here are fantastic I think the fact that I ordered through MellowYellow for one of my first orders was just a big mistake.
As far as the early finalization goes, like I say most sellers are just super cool. I saw one add from the toyotaman for a two for one sale and it said wanted to to raise funds fast so prefinalize if possible but when I asked him about it and told him I was on the new side and got burned by MY he went the other way and was like TOTALLY cool and shipped me out my product doubled and the doube! :) !
The sellers like him far outwiegh the bad eggs like mellowyellow.
